This is a creative traditional service. Most attendees are older and most music is from the Together in Song Hymn book (usually 4 hymns). The music is led by piano or pipe organ. It is described as creative because they love music, dramatic readings, the use of video etc. About 65 people attend this service.

The first part of the service is led by a worship leader. A visiting preacher normally just preaches and says the benediction. The resident minister, Rod Dyson, will give notices and lead the offering time and prayers for others if he is present. Because of the tight time frame the sermon cannot go longer than 20 minutes. As soon as this service has concluded the church is set up for the
next service. The visiting preacher can greet people at the door as they leave for morning tea.
